Brandon Curry Interview "... I'll be my fans ..
Q. You moved to the pros after winning the Nationals. What has changed in your life since then?
Curry Brandon: Now a dream has come true. I am very motivated and am looking forward to my first appearance in the professional league. My priorities have changed too. Now spend more time in the studio and work on correcting my weaknesses.
I think to keep up with the pros, I still need a few pounds of muscle mass.
Q. When do you want to make your professional debut? What weaknesses do you mean?
Curry Brandon: I plan my debut in 2010. I want to improve my legs and especially my calves. I also plan to be on stage with about 10 kg more. I'm going to try harder, but with the same proportions that helped me a lot with the Nationals. The belief in me helps me train harder.
Q. How difficult were you at the 2008 Nationals?
Curry Brandon: I weighed around 100 kg on stage. I think with a dry 110 kg I can be seen with the professionals.
Q. You finished 2nd in the 2007 Nationals. In 2008 with 8 kg more muscles, you took 1st place. How did you train in the 8 months between competitions?
Curry Brandon: The most important thing was my training. I've increased my weights and intensity. My wife was also very supportive of me, she cooked for me and was always careful not to sin. It's actually my secret weapon.
Q. In professional circles you are called a "genetic phenomenon". How much do you think your genetic potential helps you?
Curry Brandon: Genetics is very important in bodybuilding, but you cannot become a world champion without hard work. Mental strength and motivation are also very important. These are the 4 factors that make a champion.
Q. When did you start weight training?
Curry Brandon: Even as a child, I was stronger than my friends. At school I was accepted into the wrestling team because of my strength. Then I started with weights. I also set a few records in weightlifting as a teenager.
Q. The sport of bodybuilding continues to evolve; proportions and symmetry are rated better than pure muscle mass. Have you adapted your training in this direction?
Curry Brandon: No, nature has given me good proportions. I continue to train as always. I need a few more kilos of muscle for professional bodybuilding, of course only in connection with symmetry and definition.
Q. How do you train in preparation for a competition? Can you motivate yourself alone or who will help you?
Curry Brandon: I don't need a partner for the training, so I can train very flexibly in terms of time. My wife is always on my side and supports me in everything. Thank you darling. The competitions are a calling for me, I want to show everyone that I am the BEST. That's the best motivation for me.
My family and friends always expect the best from me, which is a reason to work even harder and more intensively.
Q. How do you eat? What role do supplements play in your nutrition plan?
Curry Brandon: The supplements are very important to me. I travel a lot and you can't always prepare grilled chicken breast with rice.
Thanks to supplements, I don't have to think about food and where to prepare it for 24 hours. I am convinced of the BSN company, not only because it is my sponsor, but the composition and taste are simply unbeatable.
Before training, I prefer NITRIX, it pumps more blood into my muscles and makes me feel stronger. I drink after training CELLMASS, so my body can regenerate better. I drink the night before I go to bed SYNTHA 6to stop muscle breakdown at night.

Q. What would you do if your bodybuilding career hadn't worked out?
Curry Brandon: Who knows! I have a degree in physiology, so I would definitely be into that. I would definitely work out, I'm addicted to the gym and training.
Q. Thanks for the interview, I'm sure your fans will appreciate this insight into Brandon Curry's personal life.
Curry Brandon: I would also like to thank the fans for their numerous e-mails and their support.
I promise I will do my best and not let my fans down.
