- is digested quickly
Whey protein is a protein part of milk, rich in BCAAs and has a high biological value. An easy-to-drink and easily digestible source of protein, whey is quickly broken down to ensure a quick supply of amino acids to muscles, making it one of the best pre- and post-workout protein options.
WHEY PROTEIN FORMEN
Whey protein comes in three main forms
- Whey concentrate (WPK) Most concentrates only have around 70 to 80% protein, while the rest is made up of carbohydrates and fat.
- Whey Isolat (WPI). Isolates are a purer form that provides more than 95% protein, which ensures faster digestion. More about whey protein isolate>
- Whey Hydrolysat (WPH). Hydrolyzates are the most processed, which makes them the quickest to digest of the three forms. More about whey protein hydrolyzate>
