Cadeau Dayana - Interview “You get used to it.
Hallo Dayana,
Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.
Q. You are very successful in pro bodybuilding. How do you motivate yourself
Dayana Cadeau, I believe in God. I am a very spiritual person and I am a very strong-willed person because I do everything for myself. I need inner peace for my training. I also constantly show how I look, I have to look good, or better.
Q. How do you train? What is your training like?
Dayana Cadeau, when the show is on, I do a very hard workout six days a week. I do an hour of cardio early in the morning and an hour of strength training later. And I do yoga to get my muscles in supple shape.
Q. Please present your typical workout to us. How often do you train, with what weights?
Dayana Cadeau, like I said, I train six times a week. I don't focus on weights that much, I work out to improve, look and feel better.
Q. What part of your muscles do you prefer to exercise?
Dayana Cadeau, most people think it's my legs because they look so good, but I tend to like to work my back and biceps. I do exercises for each game twice a week. Since I have large breasts, I even need to strengthen my back. I do bareback curl and large pulled down as exercises.
Q. Please describe your diet for us.
Dayana Cadeau. I eat a lot of protein like fish, the egg whites, green vegetables, protein shakes, rice and so on.
Q. Isn't that one-sided?
Dayana Cadeau: No, you get used to it.
Q. How does your training change when competition time starts?
Dayana Cadeau. Three months in advance, I start doing more repetitions for my exercises to make my muscles harder.
Q. What are your plans for 2007?
Dayana Cadeau. Right now I'm focusing on the Ms Olympia election and I don't know what the jury wants yet. Would you like a pretty lady or a monster? I don't know. I have a pretty face, maybe it will help me. I love what i'm doing. I want to compete in Ms Olympia and Ms International. I'm 41 years old now, maybe I'll go back to drama school where I went many years ago or to a spa in Canada. Let's see.
