Scott Larry

Scott Larry – Profil

Born: October 12, 1938Larry Scott established and personified the image of the beach hunk in bodybuilding and was rightly named the sport's golden boy after winning the IFBB Mr. America title in 1962.

He was the very first Mr. Olympia in the first two years of sport, 1965 and 1966.
Joe Weider's brainchild of a competition received the perfect first-time winner with Larry.

Of all the members of the ancestral gallery maybe started Larry Scott with the lowest potential.
He was told that his shoulders were too narrow - a condition that was considered insurmountable
- Nevertheless, he went on and built incredible shoulder muscles, which, coupled with the most massive arms in bodybuilding, enabled him to perform double biceps poses from the front that made the audience rave.

Eyewitnesses still claim that the public's reaction to his 1966 Mr. Olympia attendance was the loudest and most emotional that any bodybuilding competition has ever seen.

The devout Mormon lives in Salt Lake City, where he ran his own bodybuilding consultancy.
Larry Scott suffers from Alzheimer's disease and dies March 8, 2014.
