Interview December 2010
Q. Hello Hidetada tell us something about yourself?
Hidetada Yamagishi:
Hello, my name is Hide, that's what they call me here in the USA.
Because many cannot pronounce my name Hidetada. I was born in Japan.
I started with weights when I was 16. Only to gain weight for my rugby training. In a couple of years I gained about 30 kg.
Q. How did you come up with the name "Ultimate Warrior"?
Hidetada Yamagishi:
I think it has to do with my mentality.
I never give up and I always give everything when I train.
Q. 2010 was a very successful year for you. You won the 2010 Orlando Show of Champions. At Mr. Olympia 2010 did you qualify in the top 10. What are you doing differently in 2010 than the years before?
Hidetada Yamagishi:
I've been a pro since 2006 and have improved every year.
Everything worked well this year, my muscles have become rounder and more mature.
I owe a great deal to Neil Hill to my nutritionist. He changed my diet and the results were immediately visible on the stage.

Q. How are you currently training?
Hidetada Yamagishi:
I have a trainer, Eric Dilauro. We always train with him. We always change the exercises, weights and intensity. We do 4-5 exercises per part of the body and 4 sets each.
My week looks something like this:
Day 1: legs
Day 2: shoulders, trapezius
Day 3: break
Day 4: legs, calves
Day 5: chest, back
Day 6: arms
Day 7: break
