Every year before the des Mr. Olympia the rumor mill about Kai Greene is seething. 2018 is no different and a lot of people have been hoping that Kai actually plans to attend the 2018 Mr. Olympia this year.
Well, Kai himself posted a video on the internet reacting to the rumors and ruining any chance that he would actually return to the stage. As much as the bodybuilding world is a battle between Phil Heath and Kai Greene, we have to accept that that era of Kai is over. We also need to respect the choices Kai made - as he continues to thrive outside of bodybuilding.
The IFBB and bodybuilding as a whole was a platform that gave him so many opportunities - now he's taking the opportunity to do new things in an even bigger arena.
We look forward to seeing him and can't wait to see what he does next.
