Rich Piana Bodybuilding Revolution.
Bodybuilding is an objective sport.
Hm ... we've heard it before.
Anyone who claims that they have never been surprised or annoyed about a placement in a bodybuilding competition has never seen a competition.
Everyone has a different taste. But how can you judge a good athlete on stage fairly.
In the 1970s, when bodybuilding (not the bodybuilders) was still in the diaper, not only muscle mass and presentation but also strength and dexterity were assessed.
The guidelines were later changed. Today on stage you evaluate muscle mass, definition, proportions, but that's where the first problems start.
Bodybuilding is an objective sport. Hm…
Not only the spectators, but also the athletes find themselves not rated fairly.
One of the athletes Rich Piana, wants to do something about the injustices.
Rich Piana, a 130kg muscle freak who is known in the bodybuilding scene not only for his tattoos but also for his honest manner, wants to revolutionize bodybuilding.
Rich Piana is not only concerned with his Nutrition Linie 5%but think about how to make bodybuilding more just.
Rich is planning a bodybuilding competition this year.
In this competition, in addition to classic bodybuilding, athletics are also assessed.
The competition should consist of 2 parts:
- Bodybuilding, where you evaluate muscle mass, proportions and definition.
- Athletics where fitness and physical condition are crucial.
The first part will look like classic bodybuilding competitions.
In dem second part become the athletes who have to perform basic exercises with their own body weight.
The basic exercises, i.e. bench press, squat, dips and pull-ups.
Both parts of the Rich Piana competition will be evaluated with 50% of the total number of points.
The competition is organized for amateur athletes first. But Rich is also planning a professional Rich Piana competition.
It would be interesting Markus Rühl to see on the pull-up bar…. or a functional training athlete alongside Kai Greene Comparing back poses while performing on stage.
Bodybuilding is an objective sport ... maybe not much longer.
