"You can't be Mr. Olympia and people boo you."

Question: What annoys you the most?

Shawn Rhoden: People who try to be what they are not. And chew with your mouth open! (laughs)

Question: You always have headphones when you're in the gym. Rap or rock?

Shawn: Rap! Eminem. Angry white boy. (chuckles)

Question: What do you think of Trump as President?

Shawn: (nervous laughter) I think he should stay away from social media and focus on things that need to be done. Stop talking about fake news and all that. It will be better for the country.

Question: Many saw your lack of energy and charisma on stage which prevented you from winning the title. What do you say?

Shawn: That's a bunch of crap. (laughs) I take pride in certain things when it comes to bodybuilding. If you spend a lot of time practicing your posing, you shouldn't be up there shaking. Practice creates masters. It's an expression of confidence and says, "Hey, I've done everything I can". Bodybuilding is an art. It should look effortless. You shouldn't be on stage fighting with yourself to strike a pose. You should be able to strike a pose, pop it, but still look relaxed.

Question: Has Phil Heath really the stuff around 10 times Mr. Olympia to become?

Shawn: Uh, listen ... (sighs) I ... (long pause). Phil only won three Olympics. Kai Greene should have won in 2014. 2015 und 2016. To say that Phil wins Mr. Olympia 10 times is disrespectful to any other athlete. There are too many good bodybuilders out there. Phil is not that far from everyone else. He's not the athlete who dominates the sport. In 2012, yes, he looked fine. He was a little better last year, but it wasn't someone you could shake your head and say, "He's going to win Mr. Olympia 10 times".

You can't be Mr. Olympia and people boo you. You can't be Mr. Olympia and the audience go out during your Olympics speech.

So, I don't see him win 10 times. Not while I'm competing.

Question: What do you intend to say to the audience if you win the Olympia in September?

Shawn: Thanks guys for going with me. Thank you for your support. We did it together! (smiles)
